A visit to CERN lasts approximately half a day and includes:

  • A film
  • A visit to one of the experiments and/or to an accelerator located at the surface

Due to the high volume of visitors to CERN guided tours must be booked at least 4-6 months in advance. Tours are free of charge and can be booked Monday to Saturday.
