Europe For Schools offers a wealth of tours and excursions pertinent to school, college and university subject areas. From beginners' level French to 'A' Level Science subjects, we are able to offer our expertise in this area.

Tours are tailored to suit your requirements and all ages of students. These include:

  • Learning modern foreign languages in France, Spain, Germany and Italy
  • History / R.E. tours to Auschwitz concentration camp and World War battlefields
  • Science tours to Futuroscope and the CERN Institute, Geneva
  • English Literature tours, learning about the life and times of George Bernard Shaw and James Joyce in Ireland
  • Art tours to all the major capitols and /or art exhibitions throughout Europe
  • Music tours throughout all parts of Europe involving indoor and outdoor venues
  • Psychology trips to the birthplace of Sigmund Freud in the Czech Republic
  • Technology tours, watching bread or cars being made in France
  • Geography field trips

All tours comply with current National Curriculum Key Stages 1 to 4, plus further and higher education syllabuses. Study packs are available to provide curriculum support at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Modern Foreign Languages Tours

There is no better place to learn a foreign language than in its native country. Europe For Schools' 'Language Experience in Europe' provides your pupils with an excellent experience which includes site seeing with work sheets and language lessons during the day/evening with experienced tutors.

Pupils will not only gain knowledge of their desired language but also a feel for the country they are studying in.

History Tours

Being able to see historical locations 'in the flesh' brings the subject to life and adds significance to the subject area. Tours include:

  • Trips to Ieper,Somme, Krakow, Berlin and Dresden
  • Guided tours to Auschwitz/Birkenau concentration camps and World War battlefields
  • Tours to Gallipoli, Agincourt and Normandy
  • Two city tours such as Berlin/Krakow connected by executive coach or an overnight sleeper train
  • Tours to Rome and Naples to visit Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius

Religuous EducationTours

Europe For Schools are able to offer R.E. trips for all age ranges and National Curriculum Key Stages. The drama of religion through the centuries can be brought to life with wonderful vivits. Destinations include:

  • The Jewish story of the 2nd World War in Berlin and Krakow
  • Rome and the Vatican City
  • Israel and the Holy Lands

Science Tours

Europe For Schools are able to offer science trips for all age ranges and National Curriculum Key Stages. Our outings are able to combine both fun elements with educational elements. Destinations include:

  • Nausicaa, Boulogne
  • Cité des Sciences et de l' Industrie, Paris
  • Futuroscope, Poitiers
  • CERN Institute, Geneva
  • Science Museum, London

English Language and English Literature Tours

Europe For Schools helps to bring the subject to life with visits such as Dublin which enables you and your English class to see the birthplaces of James Joyce and George Bernard Shaw. Being able to read any of their book may be one part of the subject, but actually seeing their regular haunts adds another dimension.

Art Tours

Art tours can be arranged to all the major cities of Europe such as:

  • Paris and the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Picasso museum and countless more
  • Barcelona and the influence of Gaudi
  • Rome and the Eternal City

N.B. France now has free entrance to all museums for school groups.

Music Tours

For music departments, Europe For Schools are able to offer a variety of tours. These include being able to see the latest shows or sending the school swing band to perform in Holland.

We can cater for any musical group such as choirs, orchestral bands, jazz bands or other group combinations. Performances can be arranged in one or a mix of 5 countries (Holland, Belgium, Germany, France and Luxembourg) using indoor and outdoor venues.

Our tours to Italy and Venice, Spain and Madrid , Germany and Cologne/Bonn (Beethoven's home town),Poland and Krakow and Czech Republic and Prague or to the South of France are especially suited for schools and concerts can be arranged for all types of music groups.

Physchology Tours

Europe for Schools offer engaging psychology tours to the Czech Republic, the birthplace of Sigmund Freud.

Including lectures, our psychology trips offer further and higher education institutions an opportunity to learn more about this fascinating subject area.

Tours include collecting data from the people of Prague and analysing it in the classroom

Technology Tours

Technology tours can be arranged for the various sections of your technology department. These include tours pertinent to food technology, home economics, design technology and information technology syllabuses. Examples of which include:

  • Visits to a boulangerie making bread the traditional way
  • Visits to dairy farms (a lunchtime meal of the farm produce is possible)and chocolate factory
  • Guided tours around the Renault truck factory
  • Catering Tours to Italy - Sorrento, Spain -Barcelona, France - Dordogne

Geography Tours

No Geography syllabus is complete without a field trip or a geography tour to explore geological features on location rather than on paper. These include:

  • Exploring Grotte de Clamouse, a cave in the South of France
  • Studying the marine environment in the Pas De Calais region.
  • Vulcania at Clermont Fferand
