Europe for Schools appreciates the fact that we do need to let our hair down now and again. After months of hard study, why not reward your class with an excursion to a theme park in mainland Europe?

As well as offering excursions to theme parks in mainland Europe, we also specialise in sports tours.

Sports Tours

We are able to offer sports tours to all parts of Europe and further afield to South Africa, Australia, Caribean and Canada . Tours include all travel including to and from the matches and we can offer a range of fun-packed activities from tree climbing, go karting to outdoor pursuits and mountain biking. We cover:

  • Rugby (Union and League)
  • Association Football (Soccer)
  • Cricket
  • Basketball
  • Volleyball
  • Gymnastics
  • Netball
  • Hockey
  • Tennis

From a week's touring for a couple of friendly matches to playing in tournaments, we are able to offer sports tours for male and female teams from under 9s to under 18s. We will also try our to ensure that teams are of similar standards.

Sports Diary

The main sports of rugby and football tend to be a longer season on the continent allowing tournaments to be found in the Easter holiday through to and including theWhitsun half term. It is possible to find some fixtures in the July period.

Rugby Union:
On the continent, tournaments are usually at the end of October or in the months of April to June.These can be found in the main countries of Italy and France. We can also arrange friendly matches to ensure a full itinerary.

In May 2010 for most age groups there are tournaments every weekend France - Beziers region and at La Roche sur Yon ,Vendee. Italy -Benevento.

Rugby tours are available in Spain for any month of the year..

We can now offer rugby tours to Ireland, France, Italy, Spain - Benidorm and Madrid, Portugal -Lisbon and Germany(!)

Football:
Narbonne tournament (under 14s), Easter 2010;
Beziers tournament (under 15s), Whitsuntide holidays, 2010;
Langued'oc France tournament (under 16s), Pentecost weekend, 2010.

Football matches can also be arranged in Germany, France, Italy, Spain,Portugal and Poland. Coaching for all standards is available in Spain.

Futuroscope

Based in Poitiers, France, this theme park is based on technological marvels from 3D screens to evening laser shows.

  • Cabin accommodation on overnight ferry included;
  • Straight connections to Futuroscope from London via Eurostar and TGV rail services;
  • Direct flights from London airports to Poitiers.

Curriculum support study packs are available for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils.

Parc Asterix and Disneyland Paris

Why not incorporate a visit to Paris with these tours?

  • Tours can include entry to both theme parks;
  • We can irganise a multitude of visits in Paris including a climb to the summit of the Eiffel tower or a boat trip on the river Seine.

Phantasialand

An award winning park close to the beautiful city of Cologne.

  • Tours can include a visit to Cologne's magnificent cathedral and excursion to the Rhine Valley;
  • Includes boat trip on the Rhine;

Puy du Fou

A park situated in the Vendee, France suitable for lower school pupils with chariot races and medieval spectacles.

  • On certain evenings during the summer stay on for the'Cinescenie' shows (800 extras and 400 behind the scenes staff).
  • Tours can be organised as part of a two park visit with Futuroscope;

Efteling

A fairy tale park in Holland.
